Preparing for delivery
Five things to have sorted before your spa arrives. Get these right and delivery day is straightforward — we'll have you in the water the same afternoon.
The two that catch people out
A base that isn't ready, and an electrical supply that hasn't been installed yet. Both mean we can't complete the job on the day, so please get them booked in early.
- 1
Get the base down
Your spa needs a flat, level surface that can carry the weight of the tub, the water and everyone in it — comfortably over a tonne once it's full. Reinforced concrete is the usual answer. A decked area can work, but only if it was built with that load in mind. Whatever you choose, it needs to be fully cured and ready before delivery day, not still setting.

Check the route in
Measure the tightest point the spa has to pass through — usually a side gate, an alleyway or a gap between the house and a fence. You want that gap comfortably wider than the tub is deep, plus room for our team to turn corners. Send us the measurement and a photo when you order and we'll confirm it works. If it doesn't, a crane lift is often the answer, and it's far cheaper to plan that in advance than to discover it on the day.

Have the electrics installed and tested
Our team connects your spa to the supply on the day — we don't install the supply itself, so it needs to be in and working first. A 13 amp spa needs a suitable weatherproof outdoor socket on its own protected circuit. A 32 amp spa needs a dedicated supply run out to the tub position by a qualified electrician. If you're not sure which yours needs, ask us before you book the electrician rather than after.

Clear the space
Move garden furniture, planters, bins and anything else along the route and around the spa position. Please keep pets indoors while we're working, and if parking near your property is difficult, let us know in advance — we'll be arriving in a van with a heavy load.

On the day
Our team will call ahead so you know roughly when to expect them. They'll bring the spa through, position it, connect it, fill it and test everything works. Before they leave they'll run you through the controls, the water care routine and what to do in the first few days. Someone over 18 needs to be there to accept delivery and take the handover.

Not sure about something?
Send us a photo of your access route or your planned spa position and we'll tell you straight away whether it works. We would much rather sort it out now than turn up and find a problem.
